Halloween 2012...

My mom was out in mid October so she got to go help pick out a pumpkin with me for Penny. We went to the Great Park, they were having a festival and pumpkins were free (ten bucks to park...)

Penny is in love with cars, trucks, buses - you name it. So she was pretty excited to see a fire truck up close. Can't you tell?

After standing in a forever long line we let her lose in the pumpkin patch. "uh, what the heck am I suppose to do now??"

She got the hang of it real quick...

Then there were ROCKS to pick up!

After she picked out her pumpkin we checked out the chickens..

And scarecrows that looked like daddy then packed up and headed home.

She was in love with her pumpkin and talked about it as soon as she woke up every day....

For Halloween she was a Zebra. She went walking with daddy and I stayed back to pass out candy. He said she never put her bucket down and said "Happy Halloween" and "Trick Or Treat" with a big smile on her face...

Blur....

Yup, it's November already.

You see, things have been a bit crazy around here...

It all started in July when this happened...


I totally freaked, knowing that for the next few months I would be horribly sick and also have a 17 month old to take care of. I ended up having to leave my job. I dealt with the worst (OB) doctor I have ever come into contact with, who in turn caused me to go to the ER. Lost a ton of weight and basically lived in a black hole for two months.  Thank Godfor some amazing family members that came over every day to take care of Penny and I. There was just no way I could be left on mine own during that time. I thank you all sooo much!!!

When I hit about 13 weeks my ability to keep food and liquid down came back and I slowly started adding things back into my diet. I am currently at 19 weeks now and feeling pretty good. exhausted, but good. And huge! hahaha

Penny had a temporary run in with a cast for two weeks. The thing never fazed her and she did great when they sawed it off!

oh ya, baby number 2 is due March 30th, just days before Penny turns two. Can we time thing or what?!?!

The Leeds Family Came To Town....

It's been about 2 years since I've seen my brother, sister inlaw and nieces. They came out for a very overdue visit and caught up with all who love them. This was the first time they met Penny too (besides Skype)!!
They came over to catch up and also to watch the bachelorette....

Penny ate some lunch with her Aunt and Uncle then we went to the mall...

Uncle Josh came to hang out too....

We headed out to dinner to meet some more family and friends....

Love you guys and miss you so much already!! Hope to see you again before another 2 years goes by!!!

A Girl & Her Dirt...

Penny just loves being outside. Usually the following will happen: she heads straight for Bella's food bowl and puts the dog food in the water, after that she heads to the veggie garden and since we really dont' have much growing there now,  its' a ton of dirt. She plops right down and starts digging. I think she would be happy to just sit there all day and put dirt on her head/legs/diaper...

Of course the dinner table is a given. Especially spaghetti night...
